Objectives of the Project

O1: To implement IoS-based immersive learning environments

O2: To provide structured IoS digital skills training

Q3: To develop and deliver a 20-hour online and in-person IoS training program

O4: To integrate IoS-based training modules into at least five VET curricula and ensure participation and adoption of IoS-enhanced scenario

O5: To increase student engagement and knowledge retention in VET studies

O6:To establish a closer collaboration among technology businesses, VET institutes and stakeholders

O7: To enhance the appeal of VET programs by integrating IoS-driven immersive learning in different disciplines

Expected Main Results

R1: A comprehensive strategic plan detailing the integration and exploitation of IoS-based virtual scenarios in VET institutions.

R2: Development of five immersive, interactive virtual scenarios utilizing IoS.

R3: Creation of structured, multi-sensory IoS training methodologies tailored to diverse learning needs, with implementation guides.  

R4: A 20-hour Methodological and Pedagogical Guide focusing on IoS-based training.

R5: A sustainability and transferability package of the IoS in VET.

SenseVET intangible results:

R6: Improved digital skills in IoS technologies for both learners and teachers.

R7: Enhanced professional development and skillset of VET educators in IoS technologies.

R8: Stronger partnerships and innovation exchanges between technology businesses, VET institutes, and stakeholders, enhancing VET with IoS technologies.

R9: Increased learner motivation and engagement through IoS-based educational experiences.

Project Activities

The activities of the project are following logical sequence and will be deployed during certain phases of the project. Horizontal tasks of Management and coordination (WP1), as well as Dissemiantion and expoitation activities (WP5) will be the backbone of the project in the entire implementation phase. In WP2 Identification, skills gap analysis , description and creation of use VR case scenarios in VET the consosrtium will ensure the correct path of the further implementation. In the next phase Development of Virtual Scenarios Utilizing the Internet Of Senses (WP3) will be ensured and will set up the ground for national trainings. A Multi-sensory Virtual scenarios’ Methodological and pedagogical Guide (WP4) will also equip the VET proffessionals with the necessary frame and aspects for the implementaion of IoS technologies in the classroom.
