Objectives of the Project

• Raise awareness on climate neutrality, emphasizing the decarbonization of the energy sector, and enhancing energy efficiency in buildings, zero-energy buildings (ZEBs), and sustainability.
• Upskill VET students and trainers in zero-energy construction and the green transition.
• Cultivate a sustainable, engaging, and industry-relevant learning environment that prepares VET students for the future of sustainable construction.
• Revamp the learning experience in construction by integrating innovative technologies such as Virtual Reality (VR) and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Establish a network of construction experts and students for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
• Promote cross-cultural collaboration and knowledge exchange between EU and Ukrainian VET institutions, fostering solidarity and mutual support in response to the war.
• Provide training and professional development for Ukrainian VET educators to improve their knowledge and skills in sustainable construction practices.

Expected Main Results

Handbook for Trainers (including Needs Analysis)

A comprehensive handbook for trainers, featuring a needs analysis to identify key topics and learning priorities related to zero-energy construction practices.

12 E-Learning Modules

Twelve multimedia e-learning modules on zero-energy construction, designed to provide engaging and effective digital learning experiences.

10 Virtual Reality (VR) Case Scenarios

Ten virtual reality scenarios for immersive learning, allowing students to experience zero-energy construction situations in a simulated environment.

BIM Methodologies and Tools

Digital representations and tools for Building Information Modeling (BIM), providing hands-on experience in creating and managing sustainable building models.

GreenBuildEd E-Learning Platform

An innovative online platform hosting all training content, tools, and collaborative features for learners and trainers.

Certification & Badge System

A digital system for recognizing and certifying learner achievements, supporting motivation and formal acknowledgment of skills.

Discussion Forum

An interactive forum within the e-learning platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among students, trainers, and industry experts.

Train-the-Trainer Activity

A dedicated training activity to upskill VET trainers in zero-energy construction and innovative teaching methods.

Blended Training Activity for VET Students

A blended learning program combining online modules and face-to-face workshops for VET students in the construction field.

Outreach Events and Dissemination Activities

A series of outreach events, including webinars, national events, and online seminars, to disseminate project results and foster stakeholder engagement.
