Objectives of the Project

• Develop a holistic competence strategy by equipping VET students with skills matching current and future job opportunities
• Establish an inclusive learning ecosystem by fostering a positive and supportive culture within VET institutions
• Enhance cooperation between EU and Eastern Neighbourhood countries to strengthen partnerships in the VET sector
• Increase the attractiveness of the VET sector by aligning education with labour market needs and improving student engagement
• Improve digital skills and entrepreneurship among VET students to enhance employability and lifelong learning opportunities

• A structured Foundation Semester designed to strengthen key competencies among VET learners.
• Enhanced collaboration between EU and Eastern Neighborhood VET institutions, ensuring cross-border knowledge exchange.
• Capacity-building for trainers and VET staff to improve teaching methodologies and support student learning.
• Piloting of the Foundation Semester in target countries to validate its effectiveness and ensure sustainability.
• A set of policy recommendations to align VET programs with labor market needs and EU quality standards.

Implementing the Foundation VET Cycle

• Creating guidelines to guide the implementation of the Foundation Semester
• Setting up Supervisory Teams to facilitate communication and support
• Adapting the Foundation Semester to the specific needs of each country

Developing Training Materials and Upskilling

• Designing training material covering digital literacy, inclusivity, mentorship, and learning-to-learn skills.
• Delivering hybrid training sessions for VET teachers to enhance their skills
• Offering students training to prepare them for the workforce.

Building Capacity and Strengthening Partnerships

• Sharing best practices and expertise between EU countries and Eastern Neighbourhood countries
• Training VET teachers to become mentors and leaders in their institutions,
• Developing a Best Practices Report on mentorship roles to guide future initiatives.

Dissemination and Exploitation of Results

• Creating a project website and social media channels to serve as central hubs for information and updates.
• Organizing events to share best practices with the VET community.
• Ensuring the project’s outcomes reach a wide audience.
