Objectives of the Project

• To design a strategy that will address the weaknesses of the national VET systems in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan, increasing, their responsiveness and attractiveness in the local context
• To enhance the internationalization of local VET institutes through the development of a strategy that encompasses the latest EU Competence Frameworks, aligning this way their operation with the respective EU VET institutes
• To build the capacity of the local VET Providers through virtual exchanges between EU-SM VET institutes, the development of a new Curriculum and a Train-the-Trainers Workshop
• To improve learners’ digital and green skillset, through the implementation of VET4Youth Curriculum, including both asynchronous and synchronous training activities
• To enhance young learners’ employability in the long-term, emphasizing on transversal competences that are applicable in different services of the tertiary sector
• To establish a direct collaboration between local VET institutes and labour market representatives
• To raise awareness on the importance of digital and green skills for the twin transformation of the local labour markets
