MiCRET

Micro credentials for Renewable Energy Technicians

The MiCRET Microcredentials for Renewable Energy Technicians project addresses labor shortages in the renewable energy sector and promotes a policy experimentation on the adoption and recognition of microcredentials.
By establishing common definitions, technical standards, and cross-border recognition, MiCRET enhances employability and mobility. Its innovative approach includes stackable microcredentials, targeted upskilling programs for the green and digital transition, and mechanisms ensuring ongoing relevance.
In collaboration with partners from Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Portugal, the project aligns microcredentials with national and EU standards.
