Creating a collaborative environment in VET
CollaboratiVET started with a simple observation of VET institutions of the consortium- even in a physical, online, hybrid classroom setup– on how to be able to answer questions and to support their VET students once they get stuck on their assignments at home. The most instructional approaches most frequently used are differentiated instruction, blended learning and individualized learning while flipped learning, personalized learning, and gamification command the most press, they are not being practiced as much as one might think because these approaches require more time and resources than many of the others.
Objectives of the project
The following Objectives (O) are being addressed in the project:
O1: Identify the needed skills to establish a collaboration practice through the use of Flipped Approach in VET
O2: Educate VET educators on how to implement the Flipped Approach in their own classrooms.
O3: Provide VET educators with the latest technology collaborative tools
O4: Raising awareness and fostering the European VET institutions with a new learning method, characterised by a student-centred approach and active learning
Expected Main Results
R1: Framework for the establishment of collaboration practice through the use of Flipped Approach in VET.
R2: Training curriculum for the design and delivery of a Flipped Approach collaborative learning environment.
R3: Toolbox with 20 collaborative activities
